Her career lasted from 1983 to 2004 during which she collected 26 national championships and won the bronze medal at European Championships. She skated at four Olympic Winter Games: in 1992 she became the youngest Hungarian Winter Olympic skater, and later gained the honour to be the Olympic flag-bearer for the opening ceremonies twice.
Even since her retirement from competitive skating she has been involved in speed skating, currently she is a member of the Speed Skating Committee of the Hungarian National Skating Federation.
